The Author’s Roost -- newly revised after almost two years of operation, greatly expanded, and facebook-like (completely user-friendly) -- is on its way to becoming both a resource for authors and writers and an author/writer marketing site. We're a private, membership-based community in which creative people can learn, teach, contribute, share and grow while at the same time being exposed to major media all over the world via continuous management outreach on behalf of every member. It’s a place to tell the world about your work -- and get instant, informative feedback from people who can appreciate what you do.
Today, membership is not open -- while we make the necessary adjustments to our web site and server banks to accommodate this new approach to "community" for writers and authors. But don't go away yet!
You came here to find out more about us, so please take a few moments to do that. When we re-open, which will be within the next few weeks, you will discover that . . .
1. Membership is quick and easy to set up
2. When you first sign up you will enjoy a three-month trial period during which you can immerse yourself in the community, become adept at making the most of the site and the concept, and getting acquainted with the other members of your community. Then it will be time to decide whether you'd like to continue, and
3. If you do continue, you will have some choices as to how to handle the cost; you may pay on a monthly, automatic basis, by the quarter (for those on limited budgets and/or with changing needs), or on an annual subscription. We're confident that most memberfs will want to continue and will do so with the longer term in mind. However, you are free to leave the community at any expiry point -- a month, a quarter, or a year.
