The Author’s Roost is an interactive resource portal for authors, writers and public speakers who would like to extend their spheres of influence by becoming more available to the media and to others who might use and pay for their services.
We're a one-stop resource center that brings authors, writers and public speakers together. It gives them a perch from which to reach out to readers, clients, potential clients, the media -- and each other -- in an efficient, effective and economical way.
It's both a community for sharing and a referral service that specializes in locating and showcasing authors and public speakers and presents an infinite variety of topical, timely information. It allows solo entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses and practices to inform and educate a broader public, either through public speaking, seminar or symposium presentations, trainings, or media appearances.
The Author’s Roost (AR) and its allied organization, the American Author/Speaker Alliance (AA/SA), will allow you to tell your story to the world and let the world give you productive, profitable feedback.
The AR-AA/SA community requires a paid membership for its members, which includes the unique privileges and distinct market advantages and contact leverage built into membership in the American Author/Speaker Alliance.
The media and other organizations that use speakers, seminar leaders, workshop facilitators and interviewees are invited to keep in touch with the community as it grows. Media representatives and event planners may contact members directly via a searchable directory.
